We started CloseCore by asking one question: Why are so many accounting teams still using spreadsheets to track their close activities?

Other teams moved on from spreadsheets long ago. Product teams have Jira and Asana. Sales teams have HubSpot and Salesforce.

Accounting teams have project management software too, except that existing tools are grocery bags sold as Birkins, with heavily overstated capabilities and unreasonable prices out of reach for most teams. Project management tools do not do your work for you and do not replace headcount, and they should not be priced like they do.

CloseCore fixes this problem. We are guided by two core beliefs:

First, our close management software should be accessible to all teams. Project management software is table stakes, and the price should reflect that. No team should still be managing the close in Excel. We want CloseCore to be such an obvious value that it is the first thing you implement wherever you go.

Second, we are building AI software that actually helps do accounting work. Whether we are helping to explain variances, calculate expense accruals or post journal entries, we are creating software that thinks like an accountant and helps teams work smarter.
